Guatemala's classic textile artistry creates a sublime piece in pink and beige hues. As a design by master artisan Elena Ixtamer, this 100% cotton scarf decorates its striped pattern with fringes and a lovely lightweight drape.

Costa Rican artisan Blanca Padilla designs and handcrafts this lovely trio of angels from fiber extracted from cabuya or fique, a succulent that looks similar to agave. The cabuya fiber is a beautiful creamy antique white, and the artisan works with its natural texture to from the features of this wall sculpture. Gold thread is woven with the cabuya to accent each angel's halo and the hem of her gown, and she carries a lovely bouquet of paper and natural dried flowers in red, yellow, and green. A star shoots over the trio.

The art and skill of creating handicrafts from cabuya or fique has been handed down through Blanca Padilla's family for generations. The artisan sources her material herself, growing and harvesting the cabuya, extracting the fiber, and preparing it for use in the handicrafts. Blanca Padilla hopes to help revitalize the cabuya craft industry with the success of her designs.

Presented by Eka in Bali, this exquisite angel statuette brings a message of peace and love into your home. Balinese artisans use local hibiscus wood with a gorgeous natural grain to hand carve the statuette, paying special attention the angel's gown, which trails gracefully behind her as she hovers in the air.

A beautiful moth spreads its splendid beige and brown wings to take flight. Guatemalan artisan Pedro Apop crafts a detailed ceramic sculpture by hand, inspired by his love for nature. He adds the motifs to the creature using paint that he carefully mixes himself in an effort to closely approximate the natural colors of the false sphinx moth. A hook at the back permits wall display, or the sculpture can pose on a tabletop.

Beat the heat with this beautiful hand woven fan, created by Ghanaian artisan Robert Ayine Anaba. The fan is created from dyed raffia and features a wrapped raffia handle, perfect for display on a wall.

Robert Aidoo-Taylor of Ghana hand crafts this men's leather wristband bracelet. A wide band of brown leather is wrapped at the ends with matching nylon cord. Across the front is a band of braided cream-colored cord bordered by a brown cord on top and bottom.

About his artistic journey, the artisan says: "I am a self-taught artist. In 2012, I ventured into the realm of handcrafted jewelry. I have always used wood in my art and it's exciting to be able to add other materials to achieve something interesting."
