Seated with legs crossed, a man with the head of a bird holds an artifact depicting a cross. This cross shape forms windows in several structures in the archaeological site of Palenque, in Southwestern Mexico, and a glyph referring to the birdman is found on stelae there. Working in ceramic, artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association create a polychrome replica of an image discovered in Tomb One. The original is on display in the museum at the site itself.

This is my 6th sculpture by Angel, and this might be my favorite, so far. The detail of his face is gorgeous. It fits right in, in the spot I had in mind. Just cannot say enough about Angels work !!

Best Anniversary Gift Ever!

My husband purchased a beautiful handmade hammock (Durango) for me as a gift. It's not only beautiful and perfectly matching my just completed remodel of my lovely front yard but it's also very comfortable. My grand kids loooooove to hang out on it with me to relax and read books every afternoon.
