In a process that takes 21 days, Mexico's Armando Sobreyra creates this beautiful flower pot. The pot is crafted in the style of traditional Talavera ceramics, and hand painted with floral motifs in rich cobalt blue on off-white. "I try to capture in each piece the magic of my adored land, the culture that surrounds this magical town and its essence," says the artisan.

Isabelle Collins in Mexico employs Talavera techniques that date back to the 16th century to create this beautiful flower pot. The planter features a swan motif accompanied by flourishes, scales and flowers, all in cool blue shades on off-white. "I seek to continue promoting this wonderful art, preserving its artisanal elaboration techniques," says the artisan.
