Popularized in Sweden, Dala horses are a Christmas classic because of their festive designs and vibrant colors. From the island of Bali, artisan Komang Sulaksana interprets the old Swedish tradition through his own lens, hand-painting each using pointillism, giving them detail as well as texture.
