Very cute and my son loves playing with it
It's a light wood, not too heavy. I have it stopping a door on carpet. I'm not sure how it would work on a wooden floor. There's no grip on the bottom, it's all just one piece of wood so far as I can tell. It works great on carpet, though. And my son likes to pick it up and point to the toad. It makes him smile. Just a nice little piece of understated, yet special decor.

Better than anticipated!
This piece is absolutely beautiful! The detail work and finishing is so well done. I appreciate the artistry, especially knowing the story behind this piece. I have also lost my husband. Your husband is so proud of you looking down from heaven carrying on his work and taking care of your family.
