Here in the USA in the 1970's this was called gauze fabric. One of my favs. I try to buy 100% cotton always. This made me smile and it is so well made, and I can feel the energy of love buy its maker. Thank you Ying and Joy. I like the sleeve length especially, I'm not dragging them through anything. The fabric is light but not sheer and richly colored.

An elegant robe

There are not too many garments available to an 83 year old woman that would truly lift her spirits. The robe speaks to me of traditional Japanese design as do the colors. I see that there was a great deal of thought expressed in the placement of the design in the cloth so that it would be shown to the best advantage in the style of the robe. The fabric is a perfect choice, rather than cotton for this elegant robe! I am grateful that Novica is nurturing these wonderful artists because such uniqueness is not to be found elsewhere!
