The Balinese artisan uses local suar wood to hand craft the panel, carefully carving intricate openwork designs in mesmerizing concentric circles. Painted white, the panel is treated with a distressed finish for timeless appeal.

The Montalvo Family of artisans from Peru hand craft this cedar wood carving titled St. Joseph and the Baby Jesus. Hand carved and hand painted, the panel shows Jesus as a young child cradled by St. Joseph. The halos for both are illuminated with bronze leaf.

Resplendent like the harvest moon, this round mirror is captivating. Kamal designs the frame, which is crafted by hand with slabs of bone over a wood base. Featuring a hook for hanging, the mirror can be removed from the frame if so desired.

Dogon boards were traditionally placed on doors, and incorporated animal and human symbols to protect the entrance to the home. The Dogon are an ethnic group living in the central plateau region of Mali, in Western Africa. Artisan Ayoma Alhassan presents his interpretation of a Dogon board, incorporating male figures that depict how strong the men are in working to take care of their women, female figures representing the carriers of the next generation, and a tortoise. The artisan names his original relief panel Balase, which means "unity" in the Bulsa tongue. The panel's raised motifs are formed from hardened calabash.

Flowers bloom in fields of beige and burgundy, caressed by golden sunshine. Marcos Luzalde crafts a circular wall mirror of mohena, a fine Peruvian hardwood. Painted by hand on the reverse side of glass, the motifs reveal a beautiful clarity, while applications of bronze leaf add shine.
