Spring East Meets West Sculpture

I ordered these in addition to the soapstone carved box. I have a thing for elephants. They are beautifully carved and hold a carving within a carving. There is another smaller elephant just visible within. For me, it symbolically represents each of our species carry the future within, along with the wisdom and the hope to endure and survive. Elephant figurines with their trunks curved down represent wisdom and the abiity to overcome obstacles. I would like to think they speak to the even deeper wisdom carried within.....Ancestral and what is even deeper within us that is available to us to draw upon.

My piece arrived timely and safely! It is even more beautiful than the pictures I ordered from~ the work on this piece is detailed and perfect! I was fascinated by this item the first time I saw it, and I finally decided to order it. It arrived very quickly, and I was certainly not disappointed when I got my first live look at it. The detail is even more impressive in person, and I will enjoy displaying it!!
