This hammered silver band engraved with the Balinese aksara script for the cardinal directions, North South, East and West is absolutely magnificent. The cardinal directions, firmly rooted in Balinese and Javanese culture and tradition have a place in everyday life in that part of the world, and if one is not familiar with these traditions they are well worth looking in to.
