I purchased the Seguso vase as a wedding gift on my neices's second marriage. What to do you give the couple who already has everything? I chose a lasting reminder of their beautiful wedding day and hopefully of their of their aunt and uncle who gave them this gift. Another fun fact: my neice's father (my brother) is Italian and her mother is Brazilian. She shares the same heritage as the Seguso family. What a wonderful reminder of her roots!

Alpaca is wonderful to touch with softness and thickness, giving such warmth in the winter. When I was in Peru on a train to Cusco, similar pieces were sold much more expensive.
