You can use these pretty little hearts to put a message inside for a loved one. They are quite pretty and I have already used one to give a note to a friend; she enjoyed it.
I guess I should've picked up on this from the pictures but there are so many it was overwhelming, but once I actually had the bag of birds I realized that there are a lot of birds you don't see much in art especially trogons other than quetzals, although there is a quetzal in here too!
