This sculpture will become an heirloom
Nyoman Subrata is a very artistic and talented artist. This Rama & Sita woodcarving sculpture has the very intricate detail carving. The wood finishing is just perfect. I am originally from Indonesia, so I am very familiar with Indonesian wood carving. This sculpture is now placed on my dresser, together with my other Indonesian brides & grooms sculpture. An exceptional piece of artwork!
I initially bought this and "Hummingbird Joy" for myself, but when a friend came over and saw them, she fell in love with them, so I decided to give them to her for her birthday in August. She'll be so surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if she started crying. I then ordered another "Nesting Bird" for myself. These carvings are beautiful with great attention to detail. I love them! Such talent!
