I lived in New Delhi several years ago and had occasion to visit the Taj Mahal more than 8 times, taking visitors, etc. The building, of course, is magnificent and looks different depending on the time of day and amount of light. One of my favorite things about it were the gorgeous floral panels inside inlaid with semi-precious stones. It's very dim inside. The guides shine a flashlight on the inlaid stones. The carnelian glows like fire. Since that time, it's been a favorite of mine. These earrings are beautiful and substantial. My husband is going to give them to me for Christmas, so I had to watch while he put them away. I tried them on, and didn't want to give them back, they are so nice. They look amazing on. I know I will get many compliments on them.

These earrings are exactly as pictured, in their blend of warm colors and subtle pop, and also are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They are my fourth pair of Nareerat's designs, which I love, and all of them are favorites of mine. Just looking at her work on the website makes me feel happy, even if I can't buy all of it! Clearly, she loves gemstones and knows how to make them speak.
