A beautiful Valentines Day gift

I purchased this box as a sweet gift for my 18-year old for Valentines Day. It arrived in plenty of time, and was incredibly beautiful. I was a little apprehensive just because of the medium used, but since I have had such lovely experiences with Novica in the past, I went ahead and purchased it. I had no idea that papier mache could come out so beautifully. The quality of the workmanship was beyond what I was hoping for. It was absolutely meticulously made and packaged beautifully as well. If I could have only one jewelry box...

I collect jewelry boxes and had several times more capacity than I do jewelry to store in them. However if I had to pare down my collection to one item, it would be this one. Even if I had to pare it down to only the boxes whose space I actually need, this one would be a viable contender against the option of keeping multiple boxes, especially if space was a concern. Each drawer is capacious and the shallow but ample storage in each compartment means that it would be very easy to find things. It's also very pretty, even as someone who doesn't usually go for green as a decor choice, apart from plants. The colors don't pop as much in natural light as they do in pictures, but the engravings are still really nice.
