The work involved in making this has to come from the heart. I'm so grateful to the family who does this work. I was able to gift this to a dear friend with a soft spot for elephants. It's a beautiful work of art.
I bought 4 different trays from this artisan, and so I won't repeat myself, only that you should buy as many of these as you can. They are fantastic, and so worth every penny. I love them. They can be put anywhere. Even without anything in them, they are beautiful accent pieces.
My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
