I have always appreciated hand crafted objects of art. I bought this to use inn a theatrical production to sit on top of a fireplace mantel. However, I kniew I would also want to personally keep it after the production closes as I recognize the snake as a potent symbol. I am delighted with the quality of this carved statue. We purchased three of these magnificently carved masks from the same artist. They are in a hallway as an introduction to our Guatemala room. I was a volunteer in Guatemala for two years, teaching English. I love the indigenous cultures there and these masks are a fine representation of indigenous art.

I really love this mini cuckoo clock. It keeps accurate time and I have it set to the bird sound and it brings a smile to my face when I hear it. My cat also enjoys trying to find out were the bird is. It is colorful and goes well with the rest of the decor in my kitchen. The pendulum is an added feature as it sways back and forth. I would buy this again without hesitation.
