This ring has a slightly heavy weight and is very comfortable on the finger. The latch holds secure and well. I use it to hold a small pill for emergencies. When I had to use it yesterday, I was able to quickly unlatch the cover and access the medicine. It proved much faster than going to a pill holder in my pocket or purse. The compartment is not waterproof, so be careful about getting it wet, when you want the contents to stay dry.
