I have this one perched on an antique crock (on top of my Baker's Cabinet)... looking up at a blue jay painting that my son bought for me. I love how the two works of art look together. I have purchased many of Mauricio's birds for myself and to give as gifts. All are incredible works of art.
This is absolutely beautiful! I?ve gotten several comments on it and they were all impressed. Definitely will be purchasing more from the artist as well as from Novica.
Delightful depiction of a horned owl (?) as a useful planting vessel. My wife has collected a number of Gorky Gonzales' ceramic creations and they are all whimsically conceived and masterfully handcrafted.
