In Kenya Giraffe is called Tiga. I was adopted by a Woman from the Katiga Clan of the Luos, they are the "Far Seers". This wood giraffe is great, beautifully carved with a good sized place in side for some special jewelry. Tiga stands up proudly to see far.
These puzzle boxes are beautiful and fun, I love to give them as gifts and hide a little something extra inside! The box makes a great gift alone, but adding a little surprise inside is fun.
I really like these lacquer boxes for their unusal shape (square, oval and round being the norm) and the intrincate and minute brushwork of the painting. It is delicate and minimal at the same time to cumpliment modern and minimalist interiors.
