Beautiful craftsmanship!
This kind of master handcrafting is so beautiful but difficult to find in the USA. I was especially touched by M. Ayub?s write up about the Kashmir Valley and how he learned his craft which was historically passed from one generation to the next but attracts fewer and fewer artisans these days. The box is beautifully detailed and I feel fortunate to have stumbled across his work on Novica?s site. Thank you for sharing the gift of your artistic expression and craftsmanship with the world M. Exquisite detail and craftmanship
This little jewelry box is visually stunning and beautifully made. I use it as a backdrop for necklaces I sell on-line and its warm color and detailed carvings provide a beautiful contrast to my sparkling jewelry. It is a perfect size for a gift to a teen girl to store her treasures.
Ana makes yet another gorgeous sweater
Gosh, how I love these sweaters! When the cherry one arrives any day now, I will own 3. This beige and turquoise one is gorgeous. The colors are subdued, but somehow the whole sweater manages to look sexy, to hide any bodily "flaws," and to look slimming. The patterns line up perfectly, the size is perfect, and the sweater looks great open or buttoned. I highly recommend this sweater and the artist, Ana Fernandez.
