This is a lovely ceramic dish with hand-painted designs and a gorgeous glazed finish. It arrived looking just as advertised. Talavera is beautiful and this artisan is very good at it. The dish arrived carefully wrapped and perfect.

After visiting Mexico and falling in love with the warmth of its people and the richness of its culture, I began searching for the perfect Catrina—one that truly honored the spirit and artistry of Día de los Muertos. I was looking for something of impressive quality and timeless beauty, and I found exactly that in this piece by Luis Morales. This sculpture is nothing short of magnificent. The craftsmanship is exquisite—formed by hand from clay and painted with meticulous care in vibrant shades of red, silver, gold, and blue. I collect Talavera pottery. Sergio Ponce does an outstanding job with this vase. I have it on my kitchen counter where I see it daily and fill it with flowers. It is beautiful and is a stand out vase.
