Ivory on one border and dark brown on the other, the central design is an angular serpentine block of Zapotec fretwork in dark and light brown. The reverse side is solid brown cotton with an overlapping slit for inserting a cushion.

Preserving the great textile traditions of Oaxaca, artisan Mario Chavez crafts this versatile, neutral runner rug. The long runner is hand woven on a pedal loom in yarns of lead grey and ecru to produce a fine stripe with a grey border. Hand-knotted fringe accents both ends.
