This delightful wind chime is the original creation of Eleazar Leal in Mexico. A small village of ceramic houses is strung on colorful cords to create the mobile. Each cottage is hand crafted and painted with unique motifs. A round plaster pendant swings at the bottom.

Jose Arriola comes from an artistic family in Guatemala; his father was a noted sculptor and his mother worked in the ceramic arts. Both had workshops in the family home, but Jose was drawn to this mother's work. Today, he makes light-hearted decorative pieces like this hummingbird mobile. He makes and paints each bird by hand, firing them in a traditional wood kiln.

Dionisio Rojas crafts a New World creche where strong stone walls provide shelter from winter winds. Shepherds accompany the miracle of the first Christmas in a beautiful ceramic figurine. Rojas designs it with an opening at the back to permit insertion of a candle, or the piece could be wired as a nightlight.
