After visiting Mexico and falling in love with the warmth of its people and the richness of its culture, I began searching for the perfect Catrina—one that truly honored the spirit and artistry of Día de los Muertos. I was looking for something of impressive quality and timeless beauty, and I found exactly that in this piece by Luis Morales. This sculpture is nothing short of magnificent. The craftsmanship is exquisite—formed by hand from clay and painted with meticulous care in vibrant shades of red, silver, gold, and blue. remembering those that came before
I had such a hard time deciding on which 1 of these to pick from!! I picked Francesca because she is holding a platter to feed her family . The detail is amazing and the painting is so exact. I will probably need to order another 1 from this artist because I was so impressed with the talent it was made with.
