Fall Balinese Masks

Während meines kürzlichem Urlaub auf Bali habe ich mich in die dort praktizierte Holzschnitzkunst verliebt. Masken haben mich besonders fasziniert. Leider blieb mir nicht genug Zeit, viel Kunstwerke dieser Art dort ausfindig zu machen und nach Hause zu bringen. Somit habe ich gesucht und gefunden. Dieses Meisterwerk sieht grandios aus und hilft dieses Veräumnis zu wett zu machen. Es steht keiner Schnitzerei, die in Ubud direkt verkauft werden im geringsten nach.

Each time I order 1 of these I can't wait to see what the artest has created. And each time they surpass my expectations. Each one surpasses my expectations and becomes my new favorite. However, THE GARUDA still remains number one. For some reason the pictures on their website does not capture their true beauty. I have created a eye catching wall display with the many I have collected.

Barong is now busy protecting the house, frightening evil spirits but grinning heartily at the rest of us. He has added a colorful and life-enhancing presence that is a delight to encounter daily. After his arrival I particularly enjoyed watching Barong dance rituals on YouTube and highly recommend them to anyone contemplating ordering the mask since you’ll understand his significance and character better. Incidentally, I had no trouble hanging him on the wall with a tiny bit of ingenuity.
