Thought to have been designed by the Queen Kanjeng Ratu Kencana of the kingdom of Surakarta, the truntum pattern represents unconditional love and appears on this shawl in teal over a celadon background. Caribbean blue colored kawung appear at the center of every truntum motif. 'Purple Beach Pebbles' batik shawl is beautiful. The shades of purple harmonize together so well and the fabric is very soft and drapes well. I'll be wearing this a lot this spring and summer. As always, it was well packed and quickly shipped from Novica.
