Perfect for shopping or the beach, this 100% cotton rounded tote bag combines a plaid in various shades of green decorated with tassel-like fringe in orange. It is the brainchild of Guatemala's Emma Gutierrez who works to creates new designs to support the country's artisans.

To the beach or just to do a bit of shopping, this green plaid tote with patches of orange fringe is sure to get attention. The cotton fabric is handwoven on a backstrap loom and the straps are long enough for carrying by hand or on the shoulder. Designed by Emma Gutierrez, it is a modern interpretation of a pre-Hispanic weaving technique.

La Guajira is a magical Colombian region blessed by the sun, which keeps the natural landscapes illuminated for long hours, making the daylight longer. Inspired by this phenomenon, designer Lorette Menjura works with local artisans to create an acrylic coin purse featuring a colorful design in honor of the shiny Guajira sun, all made with handmade tufting techniques. The accessory also comes with a zippered closure, a little braided strap, a green pompom and a polyester lining.
