This hand-carved suar wood wall panel features a central om sign, the Hindu and Buddhist mantra meaning "inner peace and soul flows between every particle in the universe." Indonesian artisan Made Mulyani skillfully crafts this beautiful wall panel and decorates it with lotus floral motifs to make a truly calming and homely decoration.

Enclosed in a circle, a tree spreads benevolent branches from its strong trunk. Bali's Made Mulyani carves the beautiful image from suar wood, polishing the relief panel to highlight the rich grain.

Tropical fish become festive ornaments from Bali. Each albesia wood ornament is painted by hand by Ketut Nadiasih, from Bhakti Senang Hati. The set includes four lively fish hanging from golden cords.

"I'm Ketut Nadiasih, from Tampaksirin. I'm the fourth of seven siblings and our parents are farmers with no educational background. I had Poliomyelitis when I was a little girl so I rarely went outside my parents’ house unless somebody could carry me anywhere I wanted to go. I felt so at peace and happy when my nephew carried me to see the world outside for the first time - a world that is full of colors. I enjoy crafting something with both my hands that can be used by people. When I married my husband, whom I met at the foundation, I knew the meaning of happiness. We work together to create ornaments, my husband carves the pieces and I finish and paint them."
