The styling, especially the neckline with its sparkly, silvery small squares, is simply fabulous. The fabric and the print ... also fabulous and well-chosen for this dress. Silver-studded neckline, glimmering gold threads in the dress make this dress pair well with both gold and silver accessories. I instantly felt transformed into a fashionista when I wore this dress to a family dinner. And at age 77, looking and feeling like a movie star isn't so easy to do. I wanted a dress made of subtly-patterned rayon, with long sleeves, midi length. None of my usual sources had anything even close. Same with trying to find a pattern and fabric to sew it myself. Along came a Novica catalog with this Celestial Day dress by Seema Shah. It looked perfect! I was amazed how quickly it arrived from India. The dress is as pictured. The rayon fabric has a lovely drape plus an interesting dobby texture. I love the side pockets. The lining is a nice touch. The background color is great and the print is subtle and pretty. There is embroidery on the front yoke which coordinates nicely with the fabric. I am 72 and it looks and feels great on me. I would have loved it at age 22!
