I ordered this hat for a niece and another in a different color for her sister. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the hat as well as the fantastic packaging it came in. I carefully unwrapped it to inspect the hat, and then wrapped it right back up in the packaging it came in. I will gift them as is to the girls. Everything about the hat and the packaging screams heirloom quality. I plan to send the information about the artisan to them as well. I am so impressed with the entire experience. Materials (especially the bright Swiss blue color of the stone) and workmanship are great, but you may want to order one size up (a size 6 is usually slightly big on my right hand and very big on my left, but I had to use soap to get it off my left hand). I really like it, so I will not return it.

I have a BIG HEAD and lots of hair. This incredibly soft alpaca hat fits me so well I decided to keep it for myself even though I bought it for a friend. I have several things from Alfredo Falcon and love them all. The red ruana I bought years ago is my fav wrap. I may have to buy a black one to go with this hat.
