The name for this Indonesian wood sculpture is bagus, meaning "handsome" in the Balinese language. Depicting a serene man wearing earrings and a Balinese headdress, this hand-carved portrait is the work of Made Mulyani. It features the beautiful grain of crocodile wood.

Made Sadia of Indonesia presents a lovely accent table handcrafted from teak wood. The single drawer table is whitewashed, giving it a light color while allowing the beautiful natural grain of the teak wood to show through. The table's legs gradually taper toward the top, for a look reminiscent of the craftsman style.

This natural fiber journal, handcrafted by Balinese artisan Komang Sulaksana, features a pandan leaf cover, cinnamon and grass cord binding and 100 pages of rice straw paper perfect for jotting notes, memories, dreams, drawings or poetry. The artisan relishes in the challenge of melding different mediums, relying on both his artistic talent, and on natural fibers, for all of his work. "Creating new designs is so much fun for me," he says. "Arranging different kinds of materials together is not a hard thing to do but, of course, it requires patience and skill."
